What are the benefits of paying my charges online?
This service provides the convenience of paying charges anytime without having to visit a branch. If you owe more than $5, you will be unable to access eResources, place a reservation, and renew existing items.
How do I make a payment?
When you log in to https://librarypay.hobsonsbay.vic.gov.au you will be prompted to pay your charges. Otherwise, you will see this listed on your statement under Library charges.
- Press Pay Here when you are ready to begin payment.
- Select your transactions, and press Pay.
- This will direct you to the Commonwealth bank bPoint secure online payment portal where you can enter in your Mastercard, or Visa. American express is not accepted at this time.
What credit cards are accepted?
Mastercard and Visa are accepted at this time. You may also pay with any print balance you have with Hobsons Bay Libraries.
Is my credit card secure?
Your credit card details are only seen by the secure portal provided by Commonwealth bank. Card data is never stored or seen on our servers.
Do I get a receipt?
At the end of your transaction you will be given a receipt to print. You can also access your previous transactions by pressing View statements.
What if my transaction was declined?
Contact the bank or issuer of your credit card. Your charges will remain outstanding
